Vienna is the capital of Austria and has a lot to offer. The city is not only known for its imperial palaces like the castle Schönbrunn, the summer residence of the Habsburger but also for the Stephansdom, which is one of the landmarks of Vienna.

The younger generation, who might not be as interested in culture, should definitely check out the Vienna Ferris wheel or Madame Tussauds. Vienna also offers some great film and music festivals all throughout the year.
From a German point of view, Austrians might have a strong accent but the school is teaching High German.

Young adults between 12 and 17 years
Founded by Maria Theresia, ActiLingua is considered as one of the most prestigious private schools in regards to language courses and activity programmes.
The school is located right in the city center of Vienna and all of the famous attractions are easily accessible via foot or public transportation. The school buliding offers modern facilities and is situated in the middle of a big campus with a beautiful green area where students can do lots of sports like playing beach volleyball, soccer or tennis. Especially after a long day of studying, this is a great area for relaxation.
ActiLingua provides the perfect learning environment. Students share their rooms and classes with other students from all over the world. This will naturally lead to conversations.
Students will never get hungry as full-board accommodation is included in the programme. The teachers and staff will always have the best tips to make sure students make the most of their time in Vienna.
Lessons will be held in small groups with a maximum size of 15 students from Monday until Friday. Tuition consits mostly of grammar, vocabulary, speaking and listening.
Communication is a key element in class and will be applied through several exercises in group or partner work.
Young learners between the age of 12 and 17 can choose among 20 or 30 lessons in the summer. 16 until 19-year old students also have the choice of 25 or 30 lessons per week. It is possible to book the German courses for 2 to 6 weeks from the beginning of July until the end of August.
The course fee includes accommodation, full-board meals, the activity programme and of course tuition.
All of the teachers are qualified native speakers, who apply interesting and communicative teaching methods during class. The facilities and classrooms are very up to date.
Accommodation summer school:
Students will be living in spacious multi-bed rooms (4-6 beds) directly at the campus. The arrangement of the rooms will be announced at the first day but of course if students want to share a room with their friends this is possible as well. Just let us know while booking or in the online booking form. The school tries to put students of the same age and different nationalities together.
Accommodation summer school superior:
Also right at the campus, the school offers rooms with a higher standard than regular rooms. Those facilities are freshly renovated, very modern and more comfortable. A room consits of only 3 to 4 beds and students will have their own shower and free wifi.
Both accommodation options include a 24-hours supervision. Regarding food, ActiLingua tries to offer a mixture between international and Austrian kitchen. Please inform us of any special dietary requirements (vegan, lactose-intolerant, etc.)
Dorms are seperated for boys and girls.
