Germann classes in Lindau with dialoge

Lindau is an international trade city and is located directly at Lake Constance. Every year, a lot of tourists are drawn to the island city due to its beautiful view of the Alps. Especially the city centre with its old town hall, Peterskirche (St. Peter's Church) and the magical Diebsturm (a circular tower once used as a prison) are worth a visit.

The city is also well known for its port entrance which includes the statue of a lion and a lighthouse 33 meters of height. Climbing the lighthouse will reward visitors with a breathtaking view over Lake Constance and the Alps.

Since 2006, the language institute dialoge is part if IALC - International Association of Language Centres - one of the most renowned chains of language schools worldwide.
The institute offers German courses since 1985. Apart from the summer camp, dialoge specialised in all kinds of tuition for children, young adults and adults.

The programme for juniors Campus Bodensee on the famous island Lindau offers 14 until 17 year old students the perfect mixture of fun and variety while learning German.
In the morning, there will be 20 teaching units à 45 minutes and in the afternoon another 10. Teachers are most likely to be young and native speakers.

On the first day, students will take a placement test in order to learn with students of the same level. A maximum of 11 students in one class provides a relaxed atmosphere.

After class, students can choose between an active or creative programme. The supervisors will put together a diverse activity programme. Those supervisors are also available around the clock for all kinds of questions or problems.

Activities after class, in the evenings and on the weekends range from sportive like volleyball, football, mountainbiking and canoeing on Lake Constance to more relaxed like having a barbecue in the evening, karakoe or miniature golf.

Lunch will also be served on the campus by the way with everyone eating together.

The weekend excursions may last the whole day like a trip to Munich or the Sommerrodelbahn (dry toboggan run).
Meersburg or the Affenberg of Salem (a small mountain full of monkeys) will be visited quite often too.
For a half-day trip the school often chooses the Zeppelinmuseum (a museum for airships) in Friedrichshafen.

All those different excursions and activities make sure that every participant will enjoy their time at dialoge.

The school offers two kinds of accommodation: Host families and a youth hostel directly on the island. No matter which option students choose, all meals are included in the programme.

Host families usually offer double rooms. Of course, the school will only put together students of different nationalities so that they will continue learning German even after class.
The travel distance from the school to the host families is no longer than 20 minutes.

The youth hostel offers double, triple or quadruple rooms. There is a supervisor around 24/7 who will help the students with any question or problem.
