Alpadia has been organising summer camps for teenagers in locations like Germany and Switzerland since 1996.

Alpadia has it all; everyone who is planning to improve their German skills can do so in one of the summer camps in Switzerland (Engelberg), Berlin, Freiburg or Frankfurt.
Every destination combines a perfect mixture of learning and fun. The surroundings are safe and the school places a lot of emphasis on comfortable accommodation.
Interactive lessons and entertaining activities during the afternoons and evenings will make sure that there is no time for boredom. And the best thing about it - students are also improving their language skills.
Freiburg is one of the oldest university towns in Germany. The city inhabits around 230.000 residents and is situated at the edge of the Black Forest.
The school center of Alpadia Freiburg is located at the edge of a wood, surrounded by beautiful nature. Despite the calm location, the town center is only 10 minutes away.
Known as one of the sunniest cities in Germany, Freiburg also offers a stunning city center. Especially the Martinstor (Martin's Gate) and the Freiburger Münster (a Roman Catholic church) are worth a visit. All the foreign students of the University but also the international classmates will leave a very multicultural impression on everyone visiting Freiburg.
The summer camp in Berlin Werbellinsee lies directly on the waterfront of Werbellinsee (Lake Werbellin). The school organises weekly trips to Berlin of course. There, every student will have the chance to visit all famous sight-seeings Berlin has to offer like the Fernsehturm (TV tower), the Brandenburger Tor (Brandenburg Gate) the Reichstag and much more.
Just like Berlin Werbellinsee, Berlin-Wannsee also offers direct access to a lake. It takes around half an hour to get to the capital. This makes it easy to both enjoy the beautiful nature of the lake and all attractions of Berlin at the same time.
The center of Frankfurt-Lahntal is located in the northern part of Lahntal with a great view on the nearby castle. One or the other student will probably be amazed by the medieval architecture and Frankfurt's impressive churches, monastries and domes.
Around the river Lahn, the school offers many sportive activities like mountain biking or canoeing.
The school center itself also provides all kinds of activities; table football, basketball, tennis and an outdoor pool will keep everyone entertained after class.
After an exciting day full of learning and activities, it is imortant for the students to get some relaxation in the evening in order to get back to class well rested the next morning.
Students are accommodated in nearby residences with en-suite bathrooms or directly at the campus.
Depending on the location, there are single, double, triple or quadruple rooms.
The support staff is also housed in the residence and will be available for questions or problems 24/7.
All the outdoor and indoor facilities as well as the common rooms can be used by the students at any time.
The horse riding programme can be added at Berlin-Werbellinsee and Frankfurt-Lahntal for a small fee. 3 afternoons will then be spent at a horse stable nearby, where students take care of the horses, refine their skills with professional trainers and take rides in the surrounding nature.
